Code surgery session - want your code problems solved?

One of the highlight sessions of WordCamp UK 2008 is going to be the code surgery session, currently scheduled for Sunday 20th July 2008. It’s being headed up by Simon Wheatley, Peter Westwood, Rich Boakes and Mike Little.

QUESTIONS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED IT ADVANCE so our surgeons can be prepared! Simon is taking submissions through his blog (which allows you to attach code for more complex queries!

Want to know the best way to code your plugin? Having trouble with template tags? All ideas are welcome! During this session you have the opportunity to ask your burning questions about WordPress development, or get a fresh pair of eyes on some code you’re working on. All questions welcome, don’t worry about whether they’re too simple or too complex… we’re happy to help with anything.

This is sure to provoke an over-subscription of ideas, so get your ideas in quick!! I’m sure the ones that are selected give a good range of common solutions to WordPress issues. It should be a great ‘do not miss’ session during WordCamp UK 2008!

I wish our resident surgeons all the best in their operations, and thank them for their kind offer of participation in this session - sure to be one of the most production over the whole conference!
