If you’ve any spare time over the weekend in Birmingham, you might want to pop across to Chamberlain Square (by the Town Hall), where this giant sandpit (”beach” they say) has appeared.The polar bear dispenses ice cream, yum.
A short hop away in Centenary Square there’s a huge roller-disco too.
If your one of those guys that like a bit of network gaming, be it Call Of Duty or driving - Birmingham has the place for you!! Omega Sektor Google map is a ’state of the art’ gaming area in the centre of Birmingham. I highly recommend it for anyone that is having gaming withdrawal symptoms whilst in Birmingham!
I run a website called Birmingham:It’s Not Sh*t, and since WordCampers may be making their first visit to our wonderful city I’m going to try to point you in the direction of some good (cheap or free) things to do, places to go and er, things to see.
