WordCamp is the conference for users of WordPress - the leading web-based publishing platform on the internet, also recently voted best content management system by .Net magazine.
This is the first WordCamp in the UK and it’s being organised by members of the UK WordPress community, coordinated by Tony Scott - a freelance web developer based in London.
Attendees will include a unique mix of content creators, creatives and developers from around the UK. The event will feature presentations from a number of seasoned WordPress developers and bloggers, combined with lively debate.
There have been 6 previous WordCamps around the world to date, with more in the pipeline during 2008. WordCamp provides a platform for seasoned developers to share ideas and a great opportunity for those new to WordPress to get up-to-speed on content and development trends.
